Publisher Version 2 Upgrade Doesn't Work

Iam using Publisher v1.06 on windows 10 and i purchased version 2 upgrade from affinity store. However this upgrade installs and shows as seperate instance in windows programs menu. 

Only the version 1 launches successfully, however version 2 doesnt

Help me troubleshoot the same

What happens when you try to launch Publisher 2 after installation? Which version of the program installer did you use? The default MSIX one, or the optional EXE one?

(By the way, it should show as a separate instance in the Start menu; it's a separate application.)

There are a variety of reasons. For example, if you produce something with V2 you can't share the Affinity files with someone who is still using V1, so you might want to use V1 for interoperability with other users. Or you might want to refer back to V1 to see how some function that has changed in V2 used to work. 

Initially, you would want V1 to remain around so data can be migrated from it into V2 (brushes, assets, etc.). 

And perhaps you have complex projects that you're working on that you would prefer to finish using V1 to avoid potential issues of switching software versions in the middle of a project.

Nothing at all? No Splash screen, or anything? And you're clicking on Affinity Publisher 2 in the Windows Start menu?

Thanks. Are you getting any crash reports, or is anything showing up in the application log in Windows Event Viewer?

Did you use the standard MSIX installer, or the alternate EXE installer?

Can you provide a screenshot of File Explorer, and paste %USERPROFILE%\.affinity into the address bar?

Thanks for those screenshots. 

I see in the first one there's a log.txt file. Please edit/view that file and show us the contents, or attach it here. It may indicate why the program is failing.
