footeg Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 Could I make a plea for a way to organise macros. I have, for example, a number of macros from Dave Straker. I t would be extremely useful if these could be grouped under a category called DS Macros rather than several Dave's Macros spread throughout the library panel, It would be great if this could be done at the import stage but if not then could we have a way of nesting categories into a parent category. Thanks & regards, Geoff Quote
walt.farrell Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 In case you're not aware of it, you can drag amacro from one category to another. So, you could drag each of the various macros you have from Dave into a common category, and delete the other categories. This is not as simple a workflow as you were wanting, I'm sure, but it is one that's possible today. footeg Posted March 6, 2023 Author Posted March 6, 2023 Thanks Walt. The problem with this is that you can only drag individual macros & not macro categories. For example there is a category named Dave's Vignettes which contains 4 macros & another named Dave's Hue Selections which also contains 4 macros. What I would like to do is to move both entire categories into a common category named Dave's Macros, maintaining the macros in their original categories. I don't think this is currently possible. walt.farrell Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 No, it's not. Though you can drag/move the categories, I think, to put them together. footeg Posted March 7, 2023 Author Posted March 7, 2023 That's the way I have the liibrary panel organised at present but it would be much tidier to be able to nest the categories. walt.farrell 1 Quote
