pomme27 Posted February 26, 2023 Posted February 26, 2023 Geez, I really hate asking such a basic question, but I've looked high and low within Affinity help, and pressed every keyboard combination I can think of, but with no luck. I have a series of linked text frames in Affinity Publisher. I want to put my cursor within one of the frames, then select all text from that point to the end of the last frame. In other apps, I can use Command-Shift-Down arrow to do this, or Shift-Fn-Down arrow, but in Publisher, these keyboard shortcuts only select to end of paragraph. What is the keyboard shortcut on Mac to select from cursor to end of text frame? Thank you. Quote
MikeTO Posted February 26, 2023 Posted February 26, 2023 Hi, you can choose your own shortcut with Preferences as shown here - just choose Text Input from the second list on the screen and then look for Select Story End - a story is all the text in a text frame, or if it's linked, in the linked series of frames. By default, the shortcut is Shift+Cmd+End. If you're on a MacBook the End key is harder to type, it's Fn+Right Arrow which makes it Shift+Cmd+Fn+Right Arrow. That's a bit daunting so I would recommend customizing it. Try hitting the Apple Defaults, this will change from the Serif Defaults. Also you'll have to redo any home made shortcuts after hitting the Apple or Serif Defaults. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
