Lori-C Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 When I try to change one of the nodes in the stroke pressure, both original nodes slide down. I can't get just one node to change. The only way I can get this to work is if I quit out of Designer and restart it. And after doing that, it only works once if I'm lucky. I'm working from a MacBook Pro OS 13.1 . This happens even when I open a new document. Just try using any line and it won't work when you try to adjust the pressure points. I'm attaching a file and screen grab. anchor.afdesign Quote
Hangman Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 @Lori-C welcome to the forums... The first mouse click on either the left or right nodes effectively selects both nodes and you will see the tiny squares in the centre of both nodes, as per your screenshot and this will move both nodes together... A second click (not a double-click) on either node will isolate that particular node and you will see the tiny square in the middle of the opposing node vanish and that node just appear in white while the selected node now appears as solid blue allowing you to move just the selected node... Thank you so much! That worked! Quote

Something needs to be done differently in the user interface. Fortunately, I read by pure luck that Option/Alt click on one of the nodes moves it independently of the other. Now I read by additional luck about the second click option. 🙂 Thanks for your info too on the option click ability! Quote
