UnaS Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 I would like to be able to select multiple identical shapes (squares each in their own layer and in a group) with the same image or asset. Is that possible in the updated version of Affinity Designer? Help please. Quote

You could also turn on Snap to Spread, but under no circumstances have any "mid points" snapping options on. The items you are going to be placing need to have no transparent pixels on the edges. You may need to trim them. You may need to have the DPI the same as the Assets you are importing/placing/using. Pixel perfect work is not "drag and drop" simple but it can be done. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

I am not exactly sure what you want to do but have you tried making the shapes Symbols & placing the image or asset into them? UnaS Posted February 14, 2023 Author Posted February 14, 2023 Thank you RC-R and Old Bruce! The symbol approach worked like a charm. I can apply an asset or place a file on one symbol and it's replicated on all. Thanks so much! Quote
