APPLYING IMAGE OR ASSET TO MULTIPLE OBJECTS IN AFFINITY DESIGNER

I would like to be able to select multiple identical shapes (squares each in their own layer and in a group) with the same image or asset.  Is that possible in the updated version of Affinity Designer?  Help please.

To be clearer, I want to be able to place an image on mulitple identical shapes or place an asset on those identical shapes.

Make your document with Pixels as the Unit of Measurement. Turn on Snapping and have only Force Pixel Alignment turned on. You could also turn on Snap to Spread, but under no circumstances have any "mid points" snapping options on.

The items you are going to be placing need to have no transparent pixels on the edges. You may need to trim them.

You may need to have the DPI the same as the Assets you are importing/placing/using.

Pixel perfect work is not "drag and drop" simple but it can be done.

I am not exactly sure what you want to do but have you tried making the shapes Symbols & placing the image or asset into them?

Thank you RC-R and Old Bruce! The symbol approach worked like a charm.  I can apply an asset or place a file on one symbol and it's replicated on all.  Thanks so much!
