md_germany Posted January 31, 2023 Posted January 31, 2023 it is possible to set an object rotated by 35 degrees, for example, to zero. A simple example: I rotate a rectangle by 35 degrees. Now I want to make a text frame out of it and I don't want the font to be skewed. So now I would have to say you are not rotated, the way you are standing is zero degrees. GarryP Posted January 31, 2023 Posted January 31, 2023 (edited) The easiest way that I know of is to select the shape and then use Geometry Add on that layer (via a menu or the Toolbar). Note: To get the original rotation back you will need to rotate backwards by the exact same amount; the layer does not ‘remember’ how it was rotated once you do this. Note: It might be difficult to get the text nicely centred in such a rotated shape, so you might want to use two layers: one rotated shape and an Artistic Text layer.
