Affinity Rat Posted January 28, 2023 Posted January 28, 2023 Is it possible to get the eyedropper tool to allow the selection of a single colour apply to layer, then automatically revert to the previous tool. This applies to A Pho and A Dez. Quote
walt.farrell Posted January 28, 2023 Posted January 28, 2023 Not that I know of, but you could use one of the color samplers in, e.g., the Color studio, to pick it, and assign the color that way, without changing tools at all. Affinity Rat Posted January 28, 2023 Author Posted January 28, 2023 thanx Walt I always seem to forget deselecting the eyedropper then inadvertently change colour again. The goal is to minimize unnecessary clicks. Usually Im using the eyedropper to attempt colour matching so the image colours would have to be already in the sampler. It would be interesting to me to see metadata regarding how often I clicked a given tool or tool combination, in an effort to increase the speed and reduce the the effort in creating graphic art. If user created macros were available as floating menus this might solve many of my issues. Quote
