MikeTO Posted January 21, 2023 Posted January 21, 2023 I'm trying out the large UI font size this week and I noticed that the page numbers and tip change size but the word count does not. Perhaps making word count adjustable was overlooked when this new feature was added? If it were made adjustable then the space allocated would need to be dynamic. Even with the default size, the word after the number can disappear when there's not enough space as is common with overset text. When you're counting characters the numbers are longer so the overset text count can also disappear as shown below, leaving just a number. Also, the baselines of the three text elements aren't aligned. It's not that noticeable with the default UI font size, page number is about 1 px lower than word count and the tip. With the large UI font size, page number is about 2px lower than word count but 1 px lower than the tip. The pre-flight icon is virtually identical to the master view icon immediately to its left, the only real difference is preflight has colour. I wish the preflight icon was an airplane which would differentiate it and be a bit more fun. I do love the word count feature and I like that the overset text is shown in parentheses.
