Nigel Ware Posted January 21, 2023 Posted January 21, 2023 I upgraded to #2 recently and I'm trying to Import Macros I created in #1. I already have a .afmacro created from #1. In #2 I opened the Macro panel and clicked on the Import button. The resulting finder window can 'see' my file but it is not selectable. Apple Mac running Ventura 13.1 Quote
walt.farrell Posted January 21, 2023 Posted January 21, 2023 Do you have a .afmacro file, or a .afmacros file? One is exported from (and imported into) the Macro panel. The other uses the Library panel. In case this isn't totally clear, only *afmacros files can be imported into the Library panel. walt.farrell 1 Quote All 3 1.10.8, & all 3 V2.6 Mac apps; 2020 iMac 27"; 3.8GHz i7, Radeon Pro 5700, 32GB RAM; macOS 10.15.7 All 3 V2 apps for iPad; 6th Generation iPad 32 GB; Apple Pencil; iPadOS 15.7
Nigel Ware Posted January 22, 2023 Author Posted January 22, 2023 Oh WOW. That's impressive! I had only opened the Macros Panel and hadn't looked at the Library Panel. Answers above made me realise I needed both. So I opened the Library Panel and Hey Presto there were my macros....already. Well done Affinity people on picking up the old settings into the new version. Thank you @walt.farrell and @RC-R for the pointers. walt.farrell 1 Quote
