CraigAK
Been using Affinity Photo fine until today. Suddenly, when I go to place a file in my document, the only choice I'm given is a text file. There are no others in the drop down list. What am I doing wrong, or does anybody know what happened? I'm using 1.10.6.1665. Craig EDIT : Nevermind, I think I found out why. I had the text tool selected. I selected the move tool and it functioned normally. I didn't know how to delete this topic. Sorry about that everyone. Edited January 17, 2023 by CraigAK
Pšenda
Do you have the Pixel or Text layer selected in the Layers panel? The file type selection for the Place command then changes accordingly. CraigAK
@walt.farrell Thanks for the welcome. Actually, it appears that @Pšenda had the correct solution. I just happened to have the text tool selected, but it does change depending on the type of layer that is selected. I just got lucky, lol.
