Maddy Baker Posted January 12, 2023 Posted January 12, 2023 When using the updated version of Affinity, it is unreliable to use the trackpad feature of zooming in and out via pinching the fingers on the trackpad. It will stop working completely and can only be fixed by opening up the System Settings and toggling the trackpad Scroll & Zoom "Zoom in or out" button off on and on and then closing out and going back over to Affinity again. This issue needs to be resolved. Quote
MikeTO Posted January 12, 2023 Posted January 12, 2023 Hi Maddy and welcome to the forum. Which version of macOS are you using? I sometimes have a crash with pinch to zoom the first time I use it after opening a document. If it doesn't crash the first time I zoom in with the trackpad, it will be fine until I close the document and open it or another and then I again run the risk. I've gotten into the habit of pinching to zoom immediately after opening to get that hurdle out of the way. Is this the issue your'e having or is it a different issue? Here's a related thread but the discussion of the issue starts part way down. CUOFFICIAL Posted January 21, 2023 Posted January 21, 2023 Agreed that this needs to be fixed. I am running into this issue daily and it is beyond annoying to have to go into the settings to toggle the zoom on / off Quote
