publied
Hi, 1. On publisher windows version, 2.0.3, the shortcut of move tool seems the same of pen tool. 2. Upgrading from 2.0.0 i've lost the preferences (and the shortcut move tool 'F5' instead of the canonical 'V'). I'm using a desktop PC. MikeTO
Hi, unless this is a Windows-specific issue, you might have inadvertently changed this shortcut. I set my system to Italian and reset 2.0.3 to Serif's defaults and the Move tool was set to V and the Pen tool to P, as shown in this screenshot. Although the initial post talked about the "shortcut for the Move Tool" and for the Pen Tool, I see that the screenshot provided is for this section of the Shortcuts, Mike: However, that doesn't make a lot of sense to me with the description provided in that post, so I'm not sure what @publied is describing. publied 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. I saw that but was confused and thought it was just the wrong screenshot. One trivial thing is that the order of shortcuts for the Move tool is different on macOS and Windows. The difference between the Reset and Serif Defaults buttons has already been logged. walt.farrell and publied 2 Quote Download a free PDF manual for Affinity Publisher 2.5 Download a quick reference chart for Affinity's Special Characters Affinity 2.5 for macOS Sequoia 15.0.1, MacBook Pro 14" (M1 Pro)
publied
@MikeTO, @walt.farrell thank You for the answer. To update the hotkey of the move tool, in the list, I have to call up the item 'tools' instead of 'move tool'. walt.farrell and MikeTO
