Mark_A Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Further straightening, as it looks as though when it processes a panorama, Affinity Photo's already doing work behind the scenes on this. Would it be useful to have a tool that allows for a line to be drawn across an image, curved using nodes to indicate 'What is not straight but should be'. Finally, an 'Apply' button that adjusts the image so that the drawn line is straightened along with whatever in the image that was out of kilter. (That might also need a 'Field' setting for the magnitude of movement of image depending on the closeness to said line) Or perhaps this would result in a mess. Or perhaps there's already a way of doing this and I've not found it. Mark Quote
anon1 Posted March 12, 2017 Posted March 12, 2017 https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/16281-pen-tool-lens-correction/?p=73828 I had pretty much the exact same idea, I think this could be a great tool although for your use case there are already workarounds mentioned in the link above cheers Quote
