Every time I loaded a picture into Affinity v2 from My Pictures, I got a warning That a virus had been blocked, but the image seemed to load OK.

If I then worked on the image and tried to save or export, Told that image not available.

I uninstalled Affinity, and nw canot re-install it.

Any Advice?

Thanks

Use a different anti-virus program?

How are you trying to reinstall the Affinity applications, and what happens when you try?

You should check also with other anti-virus software here, if the Affinity apps have maybe been infected by some malware/virus software, since it could also be a fault interpreted (false alert) anti-virus software indication, which then in turn might block functional image library loading parts etc.

So the questions in turn here are, which antivus-software do you have in use (?) and what sort of file format pictures (from your My Pictures folder) are you dealing with?

It's possible that the anti-virus software (if active) now blocks any further (re)installment of the Affinity software. Thus check your disk file system and the Affinity installer software for possible malware infects first. Use also different anti-virus software scanners, in order to prevent from possible anti-virus software version false alerts. If the majority of anti-virus software doesn't find any malware on your system and the Affinity installer apps in turn, then disable temporary your initial ant-virus software, or create an exception rule for the Affinity (installer) apps and retry to reinstall the apps then!
