ReallyConfused2 Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 Is there any way that I can add an Australian language dictionary to Publisher V2? Quote

ReallyConfused2 Posted January 2, 2023 Author Posted January 2, 2023 G'day, Yes I looked at the FAQs before making any enquiry, but I certainly can't see any reference there to dictionaries. I'm an author and photographer, not a computer nerd, although I've got a bit more than a basic grasp of how to operate computers and their software. All I get on the site you suggested was a list of code for various dictionaries - and I haven't got a clue about code. Isn't there some way that I can simply download the file for the specific dictionary? Quote

The post from @Komatös provided a link to a specific FAQ article that is entirely about dictionaries. Here is that link in another form in case you didn't recognize it, but basically you could just click on the header of the article they posted to go to that FAQ article: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/98911-how-do-i-add-additional-dictionaries-to-affinity-publisher/ The first post in that article gives you directions on how the directory structure works, and where you need to put your dictionaries that you add. The second post gives direct download links to the available dictionaries at GitHub, which makes them easier to download correctly. So it's best to use those links for the actual downloading.
