firstdefence Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 Welcome to the forum @swasthik Use the windows screenshot utility "Snip" that windows has built in, you can get better screenshots that you can then upload. Have you accidentally turned off the Artboard? check at the top of layers panel. swasthik 1 Quote iMac 27" 2019 Sequoia 15.0 (24A335), iMac 27" Affinity Designer, Photo & Publisher V1 & V2, Adobe, Inkscape, Vectorstyler, Blender, C4D, Sketchup + more... thomaso Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 Do the Ø in the icon-column indicate some empty Group layers? If yes, what if you hide or delete them? I wonder because of this invisibility occurrence with a someway corrupted Group layer in V1:https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/177578-designer-new-background-layer-to-fit-document-size/&do=findComment&comment=1023689 swasthik 1 Quote • MacBookPro Retina 15" | macOS 10.14.6 | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1 • iPad 10.Gen. | iOS 18.5. | Affinity V2.6
thomaso Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 It's hard to guess from screenshots only since the Layers panel shows just a small section of all containing layers and children. If there is no bug involved this occurrence can be caused by different settings, an adjustment or a blend mode "Erase" for instance. It seems the top 3 layers are displayed, so the culprit could be in the layer "Warp Group". firstdefence Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 Looks like you have nested everything inside a warp group, I grouped all the layers under the warp group and grouped them, then moved that group above the warp group and hey presto. firstdefence Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 Ok, the best way I can describe it was, they weren't nested but the mask inside the warp group was messing the display of the layers below up.
