Crash on "Locate in Document" in Resource Manager in file corrupted by dysfunctional book function.

While trying to split up a 200+ page book into 3 chapters using the new book functionality in 2.00 (I have now updated to 2.03 to no avail) the chapters became corrupted, and now one of the "chapter" shows only 23 of 230 pages. In resource manager the images of the truncated content are listed, but if I click "Locate in Document", AffPub v 2.03 crashes every time.

A seperate issue with the corrupt file is that my Master Pages are overrun with duplicates (someone else reported this already).

The .afpub file is now unusable, and I lost several days of creative work. I don't want to post my book here, but I will let the Affinity Team have the file if that would be helpful to you. I would also be VERY grateful if you recover the lost content from 200 empty pages, if it's still there and just not displaying.

I would have used three copies of the original 200+ page book and just deleted the beginning, middle, and end stuff so I wind up with three documents then gone on to use the Book functionality with those three documents.

Or I would have built three new documents from a common template.

Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

the common template is what I was hoping for by using the book functionality. I want to have one of the chapters be the master, and then any updates to the template automatically update for the other chapters. That was how the documentation indicated the book function would work. But instead it created lots of problems and corrupted one of my files really badly.
