I overlooked it because to me Views are same document, in multiple windows. I think thats still a thing? Not sure what you mean about something being a thing, but previous/next views apply to both multiple documents & to different views of the same document in Affinity. This should be somewhat obvious when you have a mix of different documents & document views open if you check what you see in the View > Views submenu in your Affinity app(s). But, like has been mentioned the shortcut isn't working as expected if the documents and/or the views are not all in tabs in the same 'consolidated' window.
