Need an option to remove notice about V2 on start-up of V1

Please don't try to annoy me into upgrading to V2 by making me close the New Version Available notice whenever I open V1 - give me a 'don't show again' option. Capture One try this trick and I that's why I have never upgraded - you are more likely to lose a customer than gain a sale and it reflects badly on you and your ethos. Every time I see it I think 'oh no, not you as well'. Retaining customers by irritating them is an odd strategy, however common it is.

Hi Phil. If you're talking about the notice that there's a new version available to download, that is for updating from 1.10.5 to 1.10.6, a free update for v1 that was just released to fix recent issues introduced with Microsoft and Apple OS updates.

If you're talking about the welcome screen you see each time you start an Affinity app, just uncheck the Show this Panel on Startup option in the bottom left corner. To open this window if you've turned it off you can open it from Help > Welcome.
