iPad Pro with masses of available memory so no problem there.

Publisher:-

No easy way to create an A5 12 page booklet.

No Templates included

Will not insert Page numbers correctly

Manual next to useless

Online Video Tutorials even less than useless.

DOES THIS APP HAVE ANYTHING GOING FOR IT?

That’s harsh. Perhaps try another app for comparison.

I’ve never used Publisher before it’s release to iPad but have found a combination of Help file reading, answers to questions from helpful people on this forum and viewing a variety of available videos have enabled me to work out how to use the app for my simple projects.
I know it’s capability’s far outweigh my current skill set but, if I find something I can’t do, I just ask here and someone eventually helps.

For the booklet, A5 12 page, it was easy to setup on my ipad 9.  Page numbers worked fine also.  I use indesign on a daily basis, but affinity publisher is starting to grow on me.  When you open publisher select "New" on the left menu bar, there you will see the A5 Doc size (it is under print).   Off to the right will be your page setup options, a few lines down under "Facing Pages" you will see the number of pages.

To setup your page numbering, is it just not working at all?  Did you use a master page for your numbering?

Thanks for the replies.

I tried the A5 and select Facing but do not see facing pages when I scroll down.

I have not yet tried my PC version.

Shame that decent Templates are not included, even Publisher 2007 included a whole mass of Templates.

No issues creating an A5-Facing 12 page Doc here either.

Are you referring to Templates as those similar to Pages….Premade/Formatted Doc Templates, including Filler Text/Images etc?

Select Pages studio on right of screen. Make sure menu set to display Pages and not Masters.
