Variable Refresh Rate Issue

Hey y'all,

 

First and foremost, I just want to say I've supported your company for years and love what you all have done for the creative community. You are truly wonderful and the best at what you do. 

With that out of the way, I'll get right into the (small) issue. I have a 2080Ti and the Odyssey G7. Using gsync for most all of my apps works great with the Affinity apps being the one of the only exceptions. When trying to use the apps, my monitor will turn on and off quickly, and disable HDR in the process. I found a simple solution that is disabling gsync. The issue is solved, but I would like not to do that every time I want to use your applications. The only other application I use that this happens with is Boom3D. Obviously with a workaround I know this isn't a priority, but I do hope it's something you'd be willing to look into and in the future involve me for testing on the fix. I will note that trying to disable gsync on a per application basis through 3D settings was unsuccessful.

Apologies in tihe delay for replying—we are still catching up from the Xmas break.

When you say it turns on and off quickly, does it seems more like a 'flicker'? I think this may be happening when the app is full-screen.
