guenni1972
Hi, i tried to convert 20+ photos with the batch processing feature. I left the checkbox for "parallel processing" checked. The processing run forever and my only option was to kill affinity photo V2 over the task manager. I used a self created macro which generally added all four "Auto processing" features (Auto white balance, Auto colors, Auto levels, AUto contrast). To reproduce: 1.) Open New batch job 2.) Add photos 3.) Leave parallel processing checked 4.) Add the newly generated Macro described above 5.) choose jpeg as output format 6.) Choose a different folder for storage 7.) Hit Ok --> Baaaaam the operation runs forever and produces no output If the checkbox "parallel processing" will be unchecked the processing works. Here is my system info (unforunately only in german...): Prozessor AMD Ryzen 9 3950X 16-Core Processor 4.10 GHz Installierter RAM 64,0 GB Systemtyp 64-Bit-Betriebssystem, x64-basierter Prozessor Stift- und Toucheingabe Für diese Anzeige ist keine Stift- oder Toucheingabe verfügbar. Staff Chris B Posted December 16, 2022 Staff Share Posted December 16, 2022 Hey guenni1972, It went straight through on my Intel i9. However, I do believe that we've had issues in the past with Ryzen CPU's and Parallel Processing. I'll find the bug report and attach your info to it.
