COUYA Posted December 14, 2022 Posted December 14, 2022 There are a lot of problems with footnotes when importing Word files. Publisher is completely unreliable. I can't use it. Sorry. Quote
MikeTO Posted December 14, 2022 Posted December 14, 2022 Hi Couya, the footnotes in Publisher work very well but when you import from MS Word the footnotes come in with some additional character formatting applied to them. Until that issue is fixed you'd have to reformat the footnotes manually but it's not hard, just update the styles to the way you want them and then reapply them to the footnotes. There are other threads on this forum from other people who were initially surprised by the issues with character formatting but who managed to work around it.
