Don’t know if anyone who uses PrintTool might be able to answer this question.

I have changed an Adobe RGB file to Grey 16 and assigned a grey gamma 2.2 profile. This change correctly shows up in Affinity but when I open PrintTool, the embedded price is still showing as Adobe RGB (1998). Could anyone kindly supply a solution to this.

Are you still having this problem?

If so, I can try to help (though I don't use PrintTool) but I'm not sure I understand your workflow within Affinity.

  1. You say you started with an RGB file. What kind of file?
  2. Next, you presumably exported to some format to get it to PrintTool. What format?
  3. Finally, you mention an embedded "price"? Not sure what that is, but no where did you mention embedding anything, which is my main point of confusion.

Searching for PrintTool I find there is an application for Adobe files. It is made by Badia Software. Is this what you are using?

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
