Khell
Hi there, I hope this doesn't sound a bit funny...:-) I am still running my business on an old 10.14.6. Mac OS version and I will probably upgrade to a new system in 2023. Thus, I'd like to ask whether I can still buy V2 in advance? Am I right that none of the V2 versions would run on 10.14.6? Thanks in advance! K

Cataline (10.15) is the oldest listed release in the listing of supported Mac OSes: Certainly you can buy (at least directly from Serif), a Universal license that you can't use yet. And probably you can buy an individual app license for macOS that you can't use yet. But you only have 14 days from the time you purchase from Serif to request a refund, if you decide you're unhappy, so that's a disadvantage of early purchases. They have announced, by the way, that the current 40% discount offer has been extended to 25 January 2023, if that helps your purchase timing. Khell
Thanks Walt and V_kyr, one last question: Is V2 in comparison to V1 worth the money? Would I miss things I regret later on? Thanks so much!
walt.farrell
You're welcome. I think V2 is worth the money, but whether you think it is worth the money will depend on whether you want the new features or not. You can read about them in the online Help (https://affinity.help) starting with the "what's new" section in the Introduction for each app. Or at the Affinity Store, in the Tech Specs for each app. And in the Tutorial Videos (see the Tutorials section here in the forums; the official tutorials are pinned at the top).
