Paul,

I took time off. I just started. I’ve pixels the sketch. Now going for others. I’m still confused about renaming layers. I click on the name and I get nothing. I don’t have a keyboard so I need it to give me a prompt. How please?

It is a little bit hidden and not obvious, tap on the  box which contains the name of a layer, in many of yours it says Group so tap on the words Group.

This is insane. I’ve changed so much already and here we are. I’ve only gotten rid of 5 mb. So much more to go. Question. For the Grand Canyon scene, am I able to save it as a pdf or something else to make it smaller? I tried to rasterize the pile of rocks. The program gave me a middle finger lol

So this is what I did. I made the Grand Canyon Scene sucky but I decided the transition for the animation can blur into the scene just as I cross over his eye. I want the eye to jump out while going over it. But as I get to his eyebrow I can start the blur and then for the animation I can use the vector drawing of the Grand Canyon. Thoughts. It’s smaller lol.

Glad you are making progress, I have spent about 4 hours this afternoon trying to reduce the complexity and yes have had many crashes. I did reduce the size by about 40MB but at a cost of I didn’t know what I was doing to the design.

I don’t know if there are limitations on nested groups but I did see many groups containing a single group containing a single group containing a single group all over the place where that nested hierarchy could have been replaced by a single vector layer container which would reduce the complexity I think, so as well as rasterising some parts

Certainly selecting parts of the design and selecting Ungroup All to remove all selected groups as a quick test seemed to make the design a bit more stable but that is quite a big step to start over again grouping or combining curves into vector layers instead of groups.
