things on the pasteboard are hidden

In Affinity Publisher, I have unticked "clip to canvass". An item which overlaps the canvass now shows partially, but it is still clipped by something else, or else the visible pasteboard is very small. How can I make it show?

Make the drawing smaller or make the page temporarily bigger or copy the drawing to a new bigger page. The drawing is partially hidden by "potential" pages above or below the page, which is "by design" in APu.
