golgibody Posted December 3, 2022 Posted December 3, 2022 On macOS Affinity Photo 2.2.0 Go to "File" > "Acquire Image..." Scan image from a flatbed scanner Press cmd+w The scanned image closes without saving Expected the Acquire Image window to close instead since it has the foreground and should be app's firstResponder target at that point. Staff Chris B Posted December 9, 2022 Staff Posted December 9, 2022 Hey golgibody, welcome to the Affinity Forums. I think this is a fair point, however I think the Acquire Image window belongs to the OS, not us. For example, if I do the same for the Export Dialog (which is ours) I cannot reproduce this. dedebenui Posted January 22 Posted January 22 This is a problem for other dialogs as well. For example, if I open the "My Account" window, there is no way to close it with a keyboard shortcut. Cmd+w will close the document even though the "My Account" window is in focus, and "Esc" does nothing. It's an issue on all tree apps. Quote
