I would say this is personal preference based, as RAW engines in different applications will perform slightly differently when developing RAW images - some users may prefer the 'look' of RAW files that are developed in Affinity, and others may prefer the look that Topaz AI produces. Therefore I would recommend trying a few different RAW files in both applications using 'default' settings, to see which you prefer for the style of image you want to develop. However I would say that if you are planning on performing any AI de-noising steps in Topaz to your images, this is usually best if done before/during development of the RAW file, rather than denoising a rasterised image (such as JPEG, TIFF, PNG etc) as usually less data will be 'lost' when denoising a RAW file over other file types.
