Tiff RGBI support at least way loads I to Alpha. honestly i tihnk is not hard add. i dont yet found way use RGBI images any tools what i can afford i think Photoshop handles is own way but Photoshop too pricey to me. even this is feature request if you know free tool/cheap tool for windows 10 pro where i can split tiff RGBI to multiple images one for R etc. then please tell. i cheap is relative but lot less than 100euros. and how much less is depends what else program can do.

It looks like either GIMP or ImageMagick should be able to handle this - both are free.

To do this in Affinity Photo, you could try opening the Channels panel and right-clicking on each of "Pixel Red", "Pixel Green", "Pixel Blue" and "Pixel Alpha" and choosing "Create Grayscale Layer", going back to the Layers panel between each of them to rename the newly produced layer and reselect the original RGB layer.  However, I'm not sure if the data in 100% transparent areas of the alpha channel will be preserved by this method due to the way that the Affinity products seem to throw away the color data for such pixels.
