Joe1970
Dear support team, i like the new feature for creating panos. My standard workflow is starting with Capture One. From there I open my photos withing Affinity Photo. Now that I have opened the photos, I´d like to stitch them together, but the dialog only offers opening photos from disk. Selection of already opened photos seems not possible. Is this right? If yes, it would be a great enhancement to have this option. Another question? Would it be possible to send the created pano back to capture one? Many thanks in advance. Regards, Joe JustinSl
Staff MEB Posted January 27, 2016 Staff Share Posted January 27, 2016 Hi Joe, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Yes, that's correct. You can't create a panorama from opened documents/images. As far as i know, there's no automated way to send the the pano back to Capture one. You have to import it manually from there. Staff DWright Posted January 27, 2016 Staff Share Posted January 27, 2016 Hi Joe1970, Welcome to the forum. When creating a Panorama Photo makes a new document and does not reference the images already opened in the other document and the photos will have to be re-added from your Capture One image location. You can add this request in our Feature Request section of the forum. I do not believe it is possible to directly send the panorama back to Capture One I would save this locally and then upload. Joe1970
Hi Darren, thank you for the reply. Especially creating panos from opened fotos could speed up my workflow because using the "Open with" dialog in Capture One is much quicker than selecting the photos again in Affinity photos. I'll add this to the feature request section. Regards, Joachim
