Grid not displayable in V2, "view grid" does not work

Hello, 

the grid is not displayable in Affinity Photo V2. I can activate "view > grid", but no grid will be displayed.

System: Windows 11, latest updates

For some reason only known to Serif, you have to go to Grid and Snapping Axis and select basic to get a normal grid.

The default grid is only visible at 800%.

In Photo V2 the Automatic grid Mode was changed to a pixel grid and this grid will only be seen when the image is zoomed large enough for the grid to not obscure the image (larger images will need a larger zoom for the pixel grid to be seen).

As mentioned above, if you want a non-pixel grid you will need to change to a different grid Mode.

@GarryP I see. Is it possible to define default settings for a different grid mode so that I don' t have to configure it each time from scratch?

You can create and manage grid Presets within the Grid and Snapping Axis Dialog.
