But sometimes I just make too many hierarchy that I can't get back to my "alternate future"... If there was a function that I can expand the history panel which shows all the history hierarchical then that would be nice. I also think, to make the history easier to manage, it can add a bookmark function by adding an bookmark toggle for each steps. Then a list of bookmarks can be shown in the detailed history panel. It will be faster than using snapshot, "clicking snapshot panel > add snapshot > confirm name". I agree that snapshotting is a clearer way to manage different versions of design. (The new Layer States even adds flexibility, but it's Photo only function, somehow🤔) But for users who need to save history with document for some reason, the hierarchical History Panel and bookmark function is useful.
