Exporting Multiple Artboards as PDF not working - Affinity Designer 2

Beck

Recommended Posts

Reporting a bug for Affinity Designer 2 - hopefully this can be fixed. Will be rolling back to Affinity v1 since I cant export my artboards efficiently

Steps I'm doing:

Selecting 3 x artboards I want to export in layers panel > File > export > select PDF export, Area: Selection Only, drag quality down > Click Export

Nothing happens. Loading pop up shows but does nothing.

thanks!

I've tried to use Persona tab for export but for some reason the artboards don't automatically slice

For that one, you might need to click the Create Slices button in the Export Persona's Layers panel.

I am having a similar problem, although it is a bit of a drag what I did is... PDFed Artboard 1 and then Artboard 2 separately, than merged them using an online PDF merge tool.

Thanks for your input! I ad done that on a few projects as well which worked :)  But very time consuming when i have a lot of projects going!

The is also the case in MacOS... not sure if I am required to create a separate bug topic?  I also wish there was a way to export selected slices in the "export persona" as a single PDF document. Rather than using the menu bar.

I didnt find a quick solution for this so I just went back and used Affinity 1! I'm not sure about an option to export into one PDF in export persona which is why i use File > Export option!

Hopefully someone could shed some light in here :)
