mrqasq Posted November 22, 2022 Posted November 22, 2022 Hi. I'm trying to warp text. After I unclick it and than decide I would like to correct the warp I'm no longer able to do so, as handles are either not visible or unclickable at all. On PC it works 👌.. it's iPad only issue or am I doing something wrong or not seeing something obvious? mrqasq Posted November 23, 2022 Author Posted November 23, 2022 I've tested it on PC Designer, and it works as it should, handles are always visible and it's even zooming into them to help change their position. Can any1 repeat this on iPad and confirm its a bug or a feature? Quote
Staff MEB Posted November 23, 2022 Staff Posted November 23, 2022 Hi @mrqasq, With the warp group selected, switch to the Node Tool and the perspective nodes/frame should appear for you instead of the usual object bounding box (when an object is selected). mrqasq Posted November 23, 2022 Author Posted November 23, 2022 If this is the answer, then question stands - why on PC double-clicking onto warp group autoselcts Note Tool, and on iPad it doesn't? Quote
Staff MEB Posted November 23, 2022 Staff Posted November 23, 2022 Double-clicking a layer renames the layer. A single-click in the warp group thumbnail/icon in the Layers panel is enough to switch to the perspective frame and nodes/switch to the Node Tool automatically. Double-clicking the warp group thumbnail/icon (as you seem to be doing) should zoom to fit and switch to the Node Tool/display the perspective frame/nodes. This is also valid for iPad - single-click on the warp group thumbnail should also display the perspective frame/nodes. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
mrqasq Posted November 23, 2022 Author Posted November 23, 2022 I have just checked it on my iPad and switching to Node Tool does work. However clicking or double clicking to warp group thumbnail, name or around those does nothing, both pencil and finger. Can you try it yourself on iPad? Here's a video  IMG_0033.MOV Quote
Staff MEB Posted November 23, 2022 Staff Posted November 23, 2022 Hi @mrqasq, You're right. It's not switching to the perspective frame/Node Tool (iPad) when tapping the thumbnail. My apologies. Let me check with dev if this is an oversight (most likely) or intentional/by design. mrqasq 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
Staff MEB Posted November 25, 2022 Staff Posted November 25, 2022 Hi @mrqasq, This is a bug and was logged with development to be looked at. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
