thomaso
Hi @NitzanWeiner, welcome to the Affinity forums! It is sad to hear that V2 did not solve this bug – though it is expected to have its structure improved – but even seems to make it happen especially in V2. Sometimes closing + relaunching the app brings possibly lost data back in the Affinity recovery procedure and its .autosave files. This often does not work if the failed save action affected the saved document, even if the file does not show an altered modification date. The only workaround I found yet for V1 was a possible handling with this bug (when saving the file) of a occasional consequence which classifies a document as corrupted after this error occurred and prevents you from reopening the document. Then I often (not always) are able to load a former copy from a backup, open that and choose menu Document > Add Pages from File… and choose the possibly corrupted document. Unfortunately, in V1 this option is available in APub only, I can't tell about AD or APh for V2. MikeTO
If you're on macOS Ventura then this is a known issue with saving to an external drive.
