Travelling Man
Trying to find some information on how to add sun rays to a photo - such as in a forest scene. Any ideas? Thanks Colin
barninga
a way to obtain something like sunrays could be: 1) create a new layer 2) apply a gradient on it: 2.1) type conical 2.2) add as many stop points as you like 2.3) change the color of the stop points so that they are alternatively white and light-grey 2.4) set the center where the sun is supposed to be 4) add a strong gaussian blur to the gradient (it's advisable to use a live filter so that you can adjust the amount later); be sure to check "preserve alpha) 5) change the blend mode of the gradient to overlay 6) add a mask to the original image 7) select the mask and paint it black where the sunrays should not appera (i.e. where they are "behind" foreground objects Quote take care, stefano
