Well, that comment made me feel positively ancient -- I was well into my 40's before Power Computing became a clone maker. albertkinng 1 Quote All 3 1.10.8, & all 3 V2.6 Mac apps; 2020 iMac 27"; 3.8GHz i7, Radeon Pro 5700, 32GB RAM; macOS 10.15.7 All 3 V2 apps for iPad; 6th Generation iPad 32 GB; Apple Pencil; iPadOS 15.7

On this program, I can't even find 'Filters'. I type in 'Filiters' or 'remove background' in the Help and get nothing. How do I get to Filters? I found that most articles say to go here and then there, but how does one get here and then there? I just want to remove the while background from the attached picture try right click - quick actions - remove background Quote

Papouch Posted February 14 Posted February 14 Hi! I'd like to revive this topic. Is there any plan for a one-click AI background remover in Affinity Photo 2? There have been all sorts of online services for years, the competition has it, and yet Affinity still offers nothing. It kind of feels like Affinity is completely ignoring AI or no longer intends to seriously develop desktop applications for Windows 🤔 Quote Affinity apps v.2.6.0 on Windows

In my opinion, it’s much better than the simple “one click and erase” method. They’re using AI to achieve precise selections with well-defined masked details for optimal results, and it’s completely optional if you prefer not to use AI. *Note that this option is not available for Intel Macs. I quite often need to cut out product photos of light gray products, so that will be a challenge for the automation 🙂 Thanks a lot for the heads-up. Quote Affinity apps v.2.6.0 on Windows
albertkinng Posted February 18 Author Posted February 18 @Papouch if you have a Mac, a right click will get rid of backgrounds automatically, works pretty good. Papouch 1 Quote Ask for my services: albertkinng.com
Papouch Posted February 19 Posted February 19 I just installed v2.6. Hmmm, what can I say about that... The object picking is just fantastic! 😎🥳 I've been waiting for this and it's better than I expected. So well done! 👍 albertkinng 1 Quote Affinity apps v.2.6.0 on Windows
