how to make a product look that is on top of a duvet/quilt

Recommended Posts

Hi.

Can you recommend tips on how to achieve, with affinity designer (or affinity photo) the effect of a box on top of a quilt/duvet?

I have this stock photo of a quilt/duvet and a photo of the box. If the box was really on top of the duvet, the duvet would be lower bellow the box.

My knowledge of AD or AF is still not enough to do this and so it would be great if you could point in the right direction, or if you suggest any course or youtube video on how to ahieve this.

Thx

I would think that the Liquify persona in Photo may be of use here. Sorry but I don't have any further suggestions about how to go about it.

Note that you may also need a Pixel layer above the image to paint in some 'shadows' from the changed shape of the duvet and from the box as well.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4
Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Thank you! I have not used AP a lot (more AD) so I was not able to fully understand the liquidify persona. But you pointed the right direction I will try to find some videos.
