  1. Hi I am trying to follow a tutorial to remove some text from photo (basically flood tool>select grow/srink 1px, edit impaint) using affinity photo but it´s not working when I use CRTL to select multiple text so I I have to select letter by letter. The strange thing is that it was working before but then stopped working when I tried to include the dot of the letter i (TMI I know) but after that it stopped working.
  2. Can you let me know what type of keywords should I search for in order to learn more about the skills needed for this?
  3. Thank you! I have not used AP a lot (more AD) so I was not able to fully understand the liquidify persona. But you pointed the right direction I will try to find some videos.
  4. Hi. Can you recommend tips on how to achieve, with affinity designer (or affinity photo) the effect of a box on top of a quilt/duvet? I have this stock photo of a quilt/duvet and a photo of the box. If the box was really on top of the duvet, the duvet would be lower bellow the box. My knowledge of AD or AF is still not enough to do this and so it would be great if you could point in the right direction, or if you suggest any course or youtube video on how to ahieve this. Thx
  5. Hello all. I still haven't solved the problem, AD still crashes every time I search for a font. So I can't search for fonts in AD, I can only scroll through them all and select the one I want. Not the ideal situation, but I can't do anything else at the moment. However, I also noticed something I hadn't noticed before. Some fonts seem to slow down AF a lot. Every time I scroll, AD seems to stop for a few 3-5 seconds before continuing to scroll. Does anyone know why this is happening? Thanks a lot
  6. Hi all What is the windows font manager best alternative to that mac software? (that works with affinity designer of course)
  7. I have tried all solutions above but none works, AD continues to crash as soon as I try to use the font selection. (and I don´t have that windows update mentioned above)
  8. Hello Same here. Started today. Nothing changed expect installing a few new fonts but I have removed them again and freezes after a few clicks and then crashes. Last version.
  9. Hi I hope this forum is ok for my question. Sometimes I see graphic images online with two different cars mixed. Like, the front of a bmw with the back of a fiat, or other car makes. The graphics look perfect as if the car was really like that. Are those graphics pure graphic talent or is there a trick to make these images? Thanks.
  10. Hi all I hope this question can be done here. I have this file that is a strong green when I see it in windows explorer, but much less strong green when I open it in affinity. Is there any way to know what is the correct colour?
  11. Hi there - do you have any suggestion on how to achieve this? I will probably have to create a layer for the part of the watch that needs to glow but then tried to apply the glow effect but did not like the result..
  12. Hi. Thank you again. I tried. But its one of those I will need to have a clear mind of saturday morning. But will try for sure!
  13. Thank you so much. Do you have any suggestion on how to make the background colour corners round? To really look like IG stories text!
  14. Hi I have to regularly create stories that need to go thru approval and would like to be able to find a simple way to create text with background, using affinity. I tried to find a font that would do that but could not find one. I also tried to follow a topic in affinity forum where a similar situation was discussed but the replies were difficult to follow. I wonder if there is a simple way to achieve this? Of course I can do it like I am doing it now...basically I write the text and on top of a few forms...but I always have to adjust and I am wondering if there is a simple way... Many thx
