How to change/fill color of an PNG image in a Publisher document?

Recommended Posts

I added this PNG to a Publisher document and want to get rid of the white color. Not sure how to do that.

* Can I replace the white color through the grey one?

* Can I fill the white area with grey?

* Can I make white transparent?

And how to do it? I tried using Designer and Pixel persona and fill => nothing happens... I'm not an export, but a simple pixel editor behavior would help a lot.

You could try setting the Blend Mode from Normal to Darken or Multiply. Click on the word Normal in the Layers panel

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.5.5 | Affinity Photo 2.5.5 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.5 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Thanks! Blend ranges work, even I don't know what I'm really doing 🙂

The left panel controls the layer that you have selected, the left point of the graph controls dark tones, pulling it down removes or fades them, the right point of the graph controls light tones. The Panel on the right controls tones of the underlying layer. I use this when I have added an adjustment layer and want to control the tones it is applied to.
