miholzi
Hello! My name is Michael and I am an Affinity newbie and switching from Indesign. I really like Publisher and hope there will never be a abo requirement. Now I have my first question. I have a square placed in a text frame and would like to move it down a bit. I select it and move it with the cursor keys. But as soon as I click somewhere else, the square jumps back again. I'm sure you have a tip for me on how to do this, right? Here is a screenshot: Thanks for help! Michael
MickRose
Hello Michael - it looks you have the square box as an inline graphic so you need to select it with the text curser and move it with the baseline shift within the Character Panel. Here it is set to -2pt. Quote Windows 10 Pro, I5 3.3G PC 16G RAM

I know how to do it but I frequently forget. Several minutes of me thinking "I know this is a simple operation..." several times a day.
