charleshetier Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 I have bought the full affinity licence, and I got this message while trying to install affinity photo: "Le programme d'installation d'application n’a pas pu installer les dépendances du package. Demandez au développeur le package." In English, something like: "The setup application program has not been able to install package dependencies. Ask package developper". Previous version (1.xx) was installing fine on the same laptop in same context. What can I do for the installation to complete successfully please ? Thank you Quote

charleshetier Posted November 14, 2022 Author Posted November 14, 2022 @walt.farrell Thank you so much, I didn't see this one in the FAQ. The powershell command line did the job for my case. It doesn't really seem to me a satisfaying solution for the future, but anyway for now It solves my issue 🙂 Quote
walt.farrell Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 You're welcome. Personally, I didn't have any problems installing. But linking to the V2 programs from some 3rd-party applications that don't understand Windows App Execution Aliases has been a bit rough. charleshetier Posted November 15, 2022 Author Posted November 15, 2022 @walt.farrell Again, thanks a lot. While msix seems indeed modern, I'm glad there going to have an alternative then 🙂 walt.farrell 1 Quote
