Affinity Suite Purchase problem on Mac App store

Recommended Posts

Wrong. Sorry.

As far as I know, no. The purchases are all through the Affinity Store.

You can certainly download the 3 apps from the Mac App Store, and they will operate in Trial mode for 30 days. Or you can try to purchase from within the app. That has worked for some users, but failed for others. But at least you have the apps running as Trials.

You could perhaps try PayPal from the Affinity Store?

Or, for some users, switching to a different browser, disabling browser extensions, and making sure that JavaScript is fully allowed, have helped previously for V1 purchases.

You cannot directly purchase it from the App Store. But you can download the apps for free, run them in Trial mode, and purchase a license via an in-app purchase.

I thought you could in-app purchase a universal license through the App Store. Am I reading this incorrectly?

https://affinity.serif.com/en-us/learn/in-app-licence-activation/

If you have purchased an Affinity V2 Universal License from the Affinity Store, your license will already be registered in your Affinity Store account so all you need to do is log in with your Affinity ID to activate your license.

If you in-app purchase an Affinity V2 Universal License through either the Mac App Store or the Microsoft Store you will also need to register that Affinity V2 Universal License in your Affinity Store account, or else you can’t receive any of the multi-app cross-platform benefits.

Good point. I was thinking that the app communicated with Serif, but it really is a purchase from the App Store, just not in the App Store, which is how I was interpreting the question. Thanks.
