Select App in Firefox

Recommended Posts

Hello,

After upgrading to Affinity Designer 2 I would like to select the app as my default SVG editing software in firefox.

In Firefox I have to select where the app is stored and so far it had been easy to select Affinity Designer 1.

I read that there are some complications with the new version of Designer. But maybe someone has an easy fix for me?

Thanks,

Felix

I haven't figured this out yet (but I haven't really tried). Sorry; I should have done that already.

You can see if using an App Execution Alias as shown in the first post in this FAQ helps:

That works for some apps, and fails for others. If it fails in FF, they're working on another alternative you could try. It's a work-in-progress, and I suspect it will be released officially in a forthcoming update:
