Hello,
I have been using Affinity Designer V2 since yesterday. Great, I'm thrilled - high praise! However, I notice a few things that disturb my workflow.
The most urgent are the templates.

I copy an image to the clipboard and want to paste that into a template I created myself in Designer. If I copy the next image and want to paste it into another template, I have to go through the hassle of selecting my templates again.

This was solved differently in V1. Once I had selected my own template, it stayed that way. It would be nice if this could be improved 🙂

It sounds like you might be doing things the wrong way but I don’t understand what you are trying to do.
Can you explain what you are trying to achieve?
(I’m not asking you to describe how you are doing what you are doing, I’m asking you to describe what you are trying to do and why.)
Once we have a better idea of what you are trying to do then we can advise better.

I asked if you could explain what you were trying to achieve and specifically not explain what you were doing.
What you have given are some very short (and confusing, because I don’t know what you are trying to do) videos showing what you are doing.

Please explain what you are trying to do and not how you are doing it.

That's what I was trying to explain.
While in Affinity V1 the templates are displayed directly, in V2 the templates have to be selected again and again

Hi tekknotrip,

This behaviour seems to be the same on v1, as such i'll move this to suggestions as I can see how someone who mainly uses keyboard shortcuts would want this.
