William Stuckey Posted November 9, 2022 Posted November 9, 2022 Good Afternoon, I have been using Affinity for a year now at my job with the military. It has always worked on Windows 7 (which is the only OS military programs work on at this time. Version 2 will not install or even engage on this computer. Does version 2 require Windows 10 to work? The size of the app is not that bigger then version 1 and I do not see why a graphics program would need an upgraded version of windows to work properly. Thanks in advance. William Quote
walt.farrell Posted November 9, 2022 Posted November 9, 2022 Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @William Stuckey. Yes, Windows 10 or 11 are required now, presumably to simplify current and future development work by getting to a higher level of known functionality in the OS. Dan C Posted November 9, 2022 Posted November 9, 2022 We do not support Windows 7 I'm afraid. Microsoft themselves no longer support Windows 7 and will end their support for Windows 8 in January. https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/end-of-support?r=1 Quote
