jvidalx
Hi, I'm getting the error "Sideloading is blocked by policy. Contact your administrator to allow you to install apps from anywhere" when installing any V2 app on windows 11. I've checked the apps settings and anywhere is set. How can I fix this? Thanks. Staff Leigh Posted November 10, 2022 Staff Share Posted November 10, 2022 Is your machine on a network at all or managed by a company? If so, I think this setting can also be enforced via Group Policy.
jvidalx
This is installed in my personal computer, but I had an MS Office 365 student account that I removed, but sitll can't install. Can I get Affinity apps via MS Store and try to install that way.?
Staff Leigh Posted November 11, 2022 Staff Share Posted November 11, 2022 Thanks for replying. Do you have Developer Mode enabled in Settings > Privacy & Security > Developers?

What is your exact Windows version? You can see info in Settings, About. And/or by running the winver command in a Windows Command Prompt. jvidalx
My Windows Version is: Windows 11 Pro 22H2, compilation 22621.521 Anyway, I solved this by installing the apps via MS Store instead of the .msix packages. walt.farrell
Thanks. That eliminated one possible reason for the restriction. Glad you got it working.
