Publisher ignoring overprint settings

Hello, there's a problem with the way Affinity handles overprint settings, I have first discovered it in Publisher, but all the apps do the same thing actually.

The problem is that even if you create a custom swatch and use overprint settings on it, Affinity will completely ignore it except when you export it to PDF... but even then, the actual overprint is triggered only when you use third party software (as in, Acrobat or Photoshop). When you use Affinity to open the very same PDF it's being ignored (as in, the app doesn't display it visually and when you rasterize your image on export to, say, JPEG, no overprint is being applied by Affinity to the exported image). It's as if the app doesn't actually do anything with overprint setting whatsover in the situations you'd expect it to...
