Affinity Rat Posted October 3, 2022 Posted October 3, 2022 Created a new document “Device” dimensions, when using Apple Pencil the “Pencil tool” seems to work fine but the vector brush seems not consistent with my expectations it starts out very small and doesnt get very wide. I noticed the default size was points not pixels attempting to change units to pixels didnt seem to make any difference. In pic below pencil at 15 pts and vector brush w/ pressure controller set to 736, something seems amiss. Pressure controller seems to start very narrow and never achieve anywhere near setting of 736 when compared to pencil tool with no pressure setting. Quote
Affinity Rat Posted October 3, 2022 Author Posted October 3, 2022 The circle created when adjusting the brush diameter extends about one third of the screen. See pic below. I noticed pressure controller not selected in this screen shot but was used as can be seen by variable thickness. Quote
Affinity Rat Posted October 3, 2022 Author Posted October 3, 2022 Stroke width settings in pixels but pts when editting. Quote

Staff DWright Posted October 3, 2022 Staff Posted October 3, 2022 With the size variance set to 100% the size of the brush when pressure is applied will be twice that of the initial brush size till the set brush size is met. The pressure on the brush work when the controller is set to none if the brush that you are using already has a pressure dynamic included into the brush. The Save option in the Brush editor will make a copy of the brush with your adjustment and add the brush to the available brush list. Quote
